Big Red Cats has about 150cm of snow at the top, and we're open for business, with our first trip going out on Saturday 24 November - more photos will be posted after that trip, but in the meantime the photo below was taken yesterday.

You may have heard about the mythical $199 cat seat and wondered why you never heard about it in time to book it - well, here it is!  Book a full cat rental from now until 14 Dec for just $2399 - that's just $199.95 per person if you have a group of 12!

Understand it is pre-season, so we don't have access to all of our terrain yet, and can only take out one group per day, but we're good to go - how long can it take for you to gather 11 friends and get your pre-seaon powder fix?

I'm one of the owners of Big Red Cats, is the CAO, and the only one game enough to fiddle with the back end of the website, so most of the posts are by me.
Born in Toronto, raised in London ON, graduate of Royal Military College (RRMC), with an MBA from Ivey (UWO). After 7 years in the army as a logistics Captain, I did a year in tech sales in Ottawa, then my MBA in London ON, before sailing the south Pacific (Auckland-Tahiti and back to Tonga), and then moving to Sydney to work as a strategy consulting with BCG.
Then got pregnant and married, and we decided to stop working for the man and strike out and do our own thing. Kieren dreamed up Big Red Cats, I couldn't poke any holes in the idea, so off we went.
We now live in Rossland with our 3 daughters, and spend a few months back in Australia every few years.
I like beautiful beaches, cool cocktails, and classy cappuccino.
