Availability
We recommend that you check our availability calendar in order to select the appropriate day or group.  It shows which seats are booked, and what ability level each tour is targeting.  We can run two snowcats on most days, and on a few days we will run three.  Cat-assisted ski touring can be arranged on most days, and avalanche training can be arranged on most weekends (4 pers min)  as well.

Insurance:
We strongly recommend that all our guests and clients have in place their own travel and medical insurance, including trip cancellation and evacuation.  If you don't have your own, contact Sanderson Travel Insurance.

Booking Policy:

30% deposit is payable at time of booking, and your booking is not confirmed until we have received the deposit.  The remainder will automatically be charged to your card 90 days before your trip.

Refunds

There are NO REFUNDS once you are within 90 days of your trip.  Before that time, any refunds will incur a 10% administration fee, or you can elect to keep the credit on your account for up to 2 years as a rain cheque.

If You Cancel:

Bookings are non-refundable, but a credit for future cat skiing may be offered if we are able to subsequently fill the cat.   If conditionsa are marginal but we can still operate safely, we MAY give you the opportunity to reschedule and elect to take a rain cheque, if the whole cat chooses to reschedule.  The credit is transferable and must be used within 2 years or it expires with no cash value.

If We Cancel:

We may need to cancel the day if conditions are truly dangerous, though this has happened only a couple of times - this call is at the sole discretion of our expert superving guide.   If the skiing is cancelled for this reason we will not provide a refund but we will provide a transferable credit that can be used at anytime withing 2 years of that cancellation.

Vertical Guarantee:

The expert and advanced groups have a 10,000-foot (8-run) minimum guarantee.  On most days, expert groups will get more than that, especially in spring when the days are longer.  Please be aware that if you overestimate your own ski ability and place yourself in a group that continually has to wait for you, your guide will have to ask you to sit out on some runs, so that the rest of the group can enjoy their day.  If this occurs, you will not receive any future credit.  If the group is delayed because of a medical emergency, or because one of the group members does not follow instructions and gets lost, the guarantee does not apply, as safety must be the first priority.

If a part of the day is cancelled due to mechanical breakdown, the 8-run guarantee will apply, and a pro-rata credit will be put on your account for future cat skiing.  We employ a master mechanic 12 months a year, and have 2 Pisten Bully 300 and 2 PB280D snowcats with are in excellent condition.  However, large machinery involving hydraulics can break from time to time, and we will give you a credit if this happens.
