Matt Edwards

Matt ‘s entering his fourth season with Big Red Cats. He’s completed the CAA Level Two course and the ACMG Assistant Ski Guide Course and is excited for another season of skiing some of the best powder in the world. Matt knows BRC’S terrain intimately and loves guiding people through wild places with amazing snow.

Matt’s a graduate of the Thompson Rivers University Adventure Program and spends his summers sea kayak guiding for Southern Sea Ventures in a range of locations all over the world including Fiji, Norway, Alaska and Antarctica. Matt’s embarked on numerous expeditions all over the world including climbing and skiing Mt Elbrus in Russia, Pik Lenin in Kyrgyzstan and paddled the length of the Inside Passage of Canada and Alaska.

When not skiing and paddling Matt keeps himself busy pursuing his other passions: surfing and whitewater paddling.
