Comfortable beds, a hearty breakfast, a warm social atmosphere with only 6 rooms, and an excellent location at the base of Red Mountain Resort makes the Red Shutter Inn an excellent choice: rooms with breakfast for two are $150/night and the Big Red Cats cat skier rate is $130/night. Group discounts are also available, and the lodge has 12 beds.The Red Shutter feels more like a club than a hotel, and many of our guests return year after year. The walls are thin, and it is not luxurious, so it isn't the place for a romantic getaway, but for people who are here to ski, it's a solid choice. Rent the whole lodge for 12 people (6 rooms with 2 beds per room), or individual rooms, or the cheap and spartan 2-bedroom cabin. Great snow. Great breakfast. Great beds. Good times!
