If you’re looking for cozy, quirky and close to the lifts, the A-Frame is hard to beat. This rustic-meets-modern cabin sits right at the base of RED Mountain, steps from the lifts and next door to the Red Shutter Inn.

You’ll have 2 bedrooms, your own kitchen facilities, wood stove, large TV, Wi-Fi, plus access to the Red Shutter’s outdoor hot tub and sauna.

Both rooms have 2 single XL beds (can be pushed together to make a King).  Sleeps 4 adults.

$299/night.  3-night minimum.  5% housekeeping fee is applicable.

    Excellent online availability calendar for instant information 24 hours a day! MTP has a great cross-section of privately owned condos, guest houses, bed and breakfasts, as well as inns and hotels, both in Rossland and at the resort base. Especially good for larger groups, they have some 5 bedroom and 4 bedroom chalets near our office: Olaus House, Grey Wolf Condos, White Wolf Condos.

    At the base of Red Resort, The Village at Red Mountain is just a few hundred feet further from the lifts, and offers a variety of 1-4 bedroom condos, budget cabins, and a mid-range 5-bedroom "Bear House". Built in the 1960s, the Red Shutter Inn is Red Mountain’s original lodge — a vintage ski-club style retreat with a warm, social atmosphere. Rent a single room or book the entire inn for your group.

Just a 3-minute walk to the lifts at RED and right next door to the Big Red Cats office, the location couldn’t be easier.

Each of our 6 rooms features a private washroom with shower, a comfortable queen and double bed, and individual heating.

Guests love unwinding around the wood stove in the lounge or soaking in the oversized outdoor hot tub — two signature parts of the Red Shutter experience.

While there is no full kitchen access, a shared coffee station and bar fridge are available in the lounge, and a BBQ is provided during summer months.

Cozy. Simple. Social. The perfect home base for ski days, cat trips, and mountain adventures.

Big Red Lodge

 

The Big Red Lodge is ideal for groups of 12 people (1 whole snowcat!) in the highest quality, comfort, and style.  It is usually booked by return guests a year in advance for high season, but may be available over Christmas and January.

Bed configuration includes 12 separate beds in 5 bedrooms and loft.

It is perfect for our guests as it allows the whole group to stay under one roof and all eat and socialize around one table.  

This is some of the finest ski lodging anywhere, and without a doubt the best place for a group of up to 12 to stay at Red Mountain - it is an easy walk to the lifts, restaurants, and our office.

Rates:  C$1200/night and 7th night free.

$100 off in low season and half price in summer

The cathedral ceilings in the great room allow for a stunning view of Red Mountain through the timber-framed windows. The spacious kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances make it a complete luxury get-away!

If you choose to also hire the bus to take you to and from the cat staging area, the guides can meet you at the house and drive you up. Otherwise, you are welcome to self-drive to the cats, about 20 minutes north on highway 3B.  

The lodge is self-catering, but is directly across the road from Rossberry Hill and a short walk to The Velvet and Rafters for dinners, with take-out and delivery available.

You may also book the lodge for nights you are skiing at the resort.
